Angry

As we are approaching the G20 summit in London and the associated protests which the Police are hyping for confrontation I'm getting more and more angry.

I'm angry with the Police and our political leadership who have surrendered to the terrorists with ridiculous campaigns designed to instill fear in the population. We no longer need terrorists to do anything we have the Police acting as the terrorist's advertising arm. Even if there was a connection between CCTV and preventing bombers that still does not justify such a campaign.
Shame on the Police, Shame on our leaders.

I'm angry about the economy. Bailing out Banks and letting the bankers keep their massive salaries, bonuses and pensions while unemployment rockets. While pouring our money into the failing banks our leaders have failed to protect the electorate. Nationalising the banks and then investing in infrastructure that will reduce the carbon foot print of the country and provide and industrial base for the future. Instead they have poured billions into the failing banks.

I'm angry that the Government turning Britain into a Police state. ID cards that they can't justify a database containing all citizens that offers no benefit to those citizens. How far down this road do we have to travel before enough is enough?

I'm angry that the Politicians are always on the make. The latest claims that he was acting within the rules. However that misses the point. The point is is this right. Of course it is not and true leaders would know it.

I'm angry that in our "democracy" where you your vote is worthless unless you live in a marginal constituency the politicians do not represent the people, just vested interests in Westminster and the City. They know their electorate won't eject them due to the first past the post system we have. So they treat the electorate with contempt.

That is why there is increasing stomach for direct action.

Now I've set the tone for this blog lets see where this goes.
